July-August Math Classes
The July-August vacation is a time for rest, play, and family. It can also be a wonderful opportunity to strengthen important mathematical skills without the pressure of homework, assignments, and exams. These classes are designed to help students build confidence, deepen their understanding, and start the new school year feeling prepared.
NOTE: Classes begin on 13th July 2026 and end on 21st August 2026.
Classes are limited to 10-12 students.
Cost: $100 per session (charged up front)
ALL classes are in-person except Form 5 which is a hybrid class.

Standard 4
Fractions, Decimals & Percentages Masterclass
Fractions, decimals, and percentages form the foundation of many of the problem-solving skills students need as they progress through primary school and eventually prepare for SEA.
During this programme, students will develop a deeper understanding of how these different types of numbers are connected and learn how to confidently apply them to a wide range of real-world and word problems. Since many SEA-style questions require students to move fluently between fractions, decimals, and percentages, strengthening these concepts early can have a significant impact on future success.
The goal is not simply to learn procedures, but to develop genuine understanding and confidence when working with numbers.
Schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays: 12:15 p.m to 1:45 p.m.
Standard 5
SEA Math Preparation
SEA Mathematics is about far more than memorizing procedures or completing past-paper questions. Success requires strong number sense, critical thinking, logical reasoning, and the ability to apply mathematical concepts in unfamiliar situations.
During this programme, students will strengthen the foundational skills that underpin the SEA syllabus while developing effective problem-solving strategies and exam techniques. Particular emphasis will be placed on multi-step word problems, mathematical reasoning, and helping students understand why mathematical methods work, not just how to use them.
The goal is for students to enter their SEA preparation year with greater confidence, stronger mathematical foundations, and the ability to think critically when faced with challenging problems.
Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays:
8:00am to 9:30am OR 9:45am to 11:15am
NOTE: you can only choose ONE of these times.
Form 1
Building the Foundation for Secondary School Mathematics
The transition from primary school to secondary school is one of the most important stages in a student's mathematical journey.
Many students leave Standard 5 having spent much of the year focused on SEA preparation. While this is understandable, it often means that important foundational skills such as number sense, operations, fractions, negative numbers, and mental mathematics have not been developed as deeply as they could be.
As a result, students often struggle when they encounter topics such as directed numbers, order of operations, algebra, and fractions in secondary school.
This programme focuses on strengthening the core mathematical foundations needed for success in Form 1. Rather than rushing through the Form 1 syllabus, we will focus on developing confidence with numbers, strengthening computational fluency, and building the skills that make future topics easier to understand.
The goal is to ensure students enter secondary school feeling confident, capable, and prepared.
Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays: 8:00am to 9:30am
Form 2
Directed Numbers & Algebra
Algebra is often described as the language of Mathematics. Yet many students struggle with algebra because they lack confidence when working with numbers.
This programme focuses on two of the most important foundations of secondary school Mathematics: directed numbers and algebra. Students will strengthen their understanding of positive and negative numbers, learn to recognize patterns, and develop confidence expressing mathematical ideas using algebraic notation.
The goal is for students to leave feeling comfortable manipulating numbers, solving equations, and approaching algebraic problems with greater confidence.
Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays: 9:45am to 11:15am
Form 3
Strengthening Algebraic Thinking
Form 3 Mathematics places significant demands on students' algebraic reasoning. For many students, difficulties experienced in Form 3 can often be traced back to gaps that developed in earlier years.
This programme is designed for students who need additional time and support to strengthen their understanding of algebra and number sense. Through focused instruction and practice, students will revisit key concepts, strengthen foundational skills, and develop the confidence needed for more advanced mathematical topics.
The goal is to build a stronger foundation that will support students throughout Form 3 and beyond.
Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays: 12:15am to 1:45pm
Form 4
Starting the CSEC Mathematics Journey
Success in CSEC Mathematics begins long before Form 5.
During this programme, students will begin working through some of the most important topics in the CSEC syllabus, with particular emphasis on Algebra, Relations, Functions, and Graphs. These topics carry significant weight in the examination and often present challenges for students who have not developed strong algebraic foundations.
The goal is to help students build understanding gradually, reduce anxiety, and enter Form 4 with greater confidence and clarity.
Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays: 2:00pm to 3:30pm
Form 5
Tackling the Most Challenging CSEC Topics
This programme is designed for students preparing to sit the CSEC Mathematics examination.
The focus will be on some of the topics that students traditionally find most challenging, including Measurement, Vectors, and Matrices. These topics often require students to integrate skills from multiple areas of the syllabus and apply them to unfamiliar situations.
Through guided instruction, problem-solving, and exam-style practice, students will strengthen their understanding of these key concepts and improve their readiness for the CSEC examination.
Schedule: Mondays, Wednesday & Fridays: 2:00pm to 3:30pm
